Wyn has exhibited his paintings throughout the Bay Area including the Marin County Civic Center, Root Division San Francisco, and the Museum of Northern California Art. He has also painted numerous public and private murals up and down the West Coast. Wyn received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2017. In 2016 and 2017 he was a recipient of the Ivan Majdrakoff Art Materials Award. Wyn lives and works back and forth between the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California.
“Growing up in the Bay Area has had a big influence on my work as well as my interests outside of painting, the physical and cultural landscape here has so much to offer and continues to inspire me on a daily basis. As a kid I developed an interest in graffiti and street art, as well as fine art, both of which have opened up new ways of approaching my work and have expanded my ideas of what art can be. I enjoy working independently as well as collaborative projects with others. I am primarily focused on painting murals, making paintings in my studio, and painting scenery for theaters around the Bay Area. I have always felt strongly that art needs to be accessible beyond the gallery and museum settings, it needs to be available to the public, it needs to be apart of the community.” Wyn Di Stefano, 2025.
